Nadia Comaneci was in attendance when Simone Biles made her case from the gymastics GOAT. It's hard to believe when she was winning gold in 1976 (the greatest Olympics on my lifetime), Comaneci was just 14. ... Technically, even with their best players away on Olympic leave, the Pride have yet to lose a game this season. Yes, the fell in penalty kicks in their final Summer Cup match, but they've never been bested in 90 minutes + stoppage time. Penalty kick "losses" don't really count. ... The Bucs are handing out really large checks this offseason. Tristan Wirfs is the latest to cash in. Still can't believe Baker Mayfield, on the strength of a mediocre 17 regular-season games, got $100M when he was almost out of the league a year ago. ... Katie Ledecky is stacking medals like Tony Montana with all those bricks of yayo on his desk. All she'd need is a cigar and a white suit. Now THAT would be a photo op. If only Sports Illustrated was still Sports Illustrated. ... It's Sha'Carri Richardson time for track and field in France. Don't blink.
