Good morning. I'm Scott Maxwell, columnist with the Sentinel. I spend a lot of time writing about politics and especially enjoy sharing the stories that the politicians would rather keep secret. Today, though, I wrote something a little more personal – about my own family's struggle with dementia. My father – once a brilliant lawyer and hall-of-fame high school swim coach – is a shell of the man he used to be. Ron DeSantis arguing with the White House about COVID vaccinations. Also a heartbreaking story by Sentinel intern Hannah Phillips about how COVID is taking a deadly toll on a couple that has cared for hundreds of foster children. And Kevin Spear has the latest on the massive $2.4 billion overhaul of Interstate 4, which is behind schedule, over budget, and now facing accusations of mismanagement from a vendor on the project. Let's learn more together ...
