The 4-star recruits keep committing to UCF now that its a Big 12 program. Whether they'll follow through and sign isn't a guarantee but it's a good start. At this rate, preseason polls a year from now will have to have them higher than eighth. ... UF coach Billy Napier is sounding the alarm about sports betting and it's potential impact on teenagers with NIL money in the mix. College sports are about to get a lot more complicated. ... The Pride have a chance to finally topple the OL Reign, but they 're missing pieces too because of players lost to Women's World Cup duty. ... Former Magic draft pick Victor Oladipo (No. 2 overall) did everything he could to get to Miami, desperate to force his way out of Indiana a few years ago. Now he's back to where he was before he became a two-time All-Star: Oklahoma City. He's hurt and rehabbing but missed out on the mega-contract and is no longer a member of the Heat, who needed to clear his salary from the books. Life comes at you fast.
