On 9-11, Orlando raises 17,000 flags to honor veterans

The nation and Central Florida will pause today to remember the victims of the Sept. 11 terror attacks that occurred in New York, Washington and Pennsylvania. Locally, a small army of volunteers will be in downtown Orlando, planting tiny American flags. The flags represent just a portion of the 84,000 Central Floridians who have been deployed since September 11. [More]
