Visit Florida shift proposed & Rare sparrows hatch

Good morning. It's Thursday, May 12. A new proposal for Visit Florida, the state's public-private tourism group, would move the agency from under the auspices of Enterprise Florida to the Department of Economic Opportunity, the state jobs agency.

"It's a historic breakthrough," said Ken Warren of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, referring to the largely unexpected births of four Florida grasshopper sparrows in captivity.
