Good morning. It's Tuesday, July 5. Braving intense radiation, a NASA spacecraft reached Jupiter after a five-year voyage to begin exploring the king of the planets.

Thousands of spectators lined the shore of Lake Eola on Monday night to listen to patriotic music and watch as fireworks soared over downtown Orlando's signature park.

See a video of new U.S. citizens celebrating at the Winter Park 4th fest.
