Good morning. It's Thursday, September 2.. Hermine made landfall about 1:30 a.m. near St. Marks in the Panhandle as a hurricane — the first one to hit Florida in nearly 11 years. It then weakened to a tropical storm as it moved over land into Georgia.

Law enforcement officials are investigating threats posted on Facebook to "exterminate" LGBT people living in a predominantly gay city near Fort Lauderdale.
