Good morning. It's Wednesday, September 21. Authorities used tear gas to disperse protesters, officers were injured and a highway was shut down in Charlotte, North Carolina, over the latest fatal police shooting of a black man.

A group of Pulse survivors and family members of those killed in the attack created a video urging Congress to pass legislation that would keep civilians from buying military-style rifles.
