Good morning. It's Tuesday, Oct. 3. In the deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history, 59 people were killed and nearly 530 injured while attending a country music festival Sunday night in Las Vegas. The gunman, Stephen Paddock, had ties to Central Florida. He killed himself before police entered his room at the Mandalay Bay hotel, police said. The carnage hit close to home for those affected by the Pulse tragedy last year. Meanwhile, Tom Petty is dead at age 66 after going into cardiac arrest Sunday night in California.
