Private school scholarships are big business in Florida. While private schools are getting nearly $1 billion in scholarships, some have hired teachers without college degrees and with criminal records and have even submitted falsified health or fire inspection documents to the state. Parents who complain to the state are told the private schools can do what they want when it comes to academics.
