In total, 1,337 people have died from mass shootings across the country since the June 12, 2016, shooting at Pulse – equal to more than one death per day. The data includes shooters killed by police, according to the archive.

SpaceX plans to launch a satellite Tuesday, and its customer is getting the flight for free

SpaceX will try again Tuesday to launch Israeli company Spacecom's AMOS-17 satellite after a successful second static fire test Saturday. The company's last satellite slated to go to space with SpaceX blew up on the launch pad due to an issue with SpaceX's Falcon 9 rocket. This mission will be free for Spacecom as a result of the 2016 accident.
