Florida coronavirus update: State passes 600 deaths, 22,500 cases

Florida surpassed 600 coronavirus deaths on Wednesday with more than 22,500 confirmed cases, according to the Florida Department of Health. The state added 43 deaths, including five in Central Florida, and nearly 900 cases on Wednesday. On Tuesday, there were 72 deaths announced, the most in a single day.
