Mayor Jerry Demings wants barbershops and salons open soon as region preps for gradual restart of businesses

Orange Mayor Jerry Demings said Friday morning he would seek to declare barbershops, hair salons and other personal care businesses as "essential" so that they could open sooner than allowed for under Gov. Ron DeSantis' plan to reopen the state's economy.
