Not even the return of injured quarter John Rhys Plumlee, who was making his first start after missing the past three games with a knee injury, seemed to provide much of a spark. Plumlee played the first three possessions before being replaced by backup Timmy McClain midway through the second quarter.

Lake Mary wins Qdoba girls golf championship; XC stars claim FlRunners titles

Reigning state champ Lake Mary won the Qdoba Burrito Challenge girls golf tournament and the Rams boys team was also the top qualifier in the Qdoba boys tourney. In cross country, Jonathan Leon of Hagerty and Annabela Tomasic of Lake Highland Prep were tops at the FLRunners Invitational.
