Sentinel Sports Final

Friday, December 29, 2023

FSU is bleeding talent left and right before the Orange Bowl, but the Seminoles believe and coach Mike Norvell is a big reason why. ... Georgia is getting richer. UF transfer Trevor Etienne appears headed to give them another weapon and QB Carson Beck couldn't be happier. ... The book on the Magic is that they can't shoot. Until they prove otherwise, they're going to have a yo-yo season from this point on. They'll be able to beat the weak defensive teams but the disciplined ones will be tougher nuts to crack, especially with Joe Ingles out. ... It seems like Billy Napier has had so many players transfer out of Gainesville that he won 't have enough players to field a team next season. ... The 'Canes lost in the Pinstripe Bowl. Who's had the more disappointing start, Mario Cristobal or Napier? ... K-State prevailed in the Pop-Tarts Bowl. There must've been a quota on the chatter about Pop-Tarts with the announce team. They talked more about Pop-Tarts than they did football. And for the record, they're overrated. Raspberry-flavored Spam tastes better. 🤷🏾
