Sentinel Sports Final

Friday, March 8, 2024

The Arnie is underway, and it won't get any easier than the first day which provided ideal conditions. Except Rory McIlroy couldn't find his groove. ... The Pride have made their move, bringing in a striker who is expected to open up a dormant offense and get them to the postseason. ... The Magic are catching the Knicks at a good time, reeling and desperately trying to hold on to a top 6 seed. They can sweep the season series with a win at MSG but also strengthen their grip on the East where it's going to come down to the final week of the regular season. ... The 7A boys basketball final four is loaded in FHSAA play, and Oak Ridge is just one of the Orlando area teams competing at RP Funding Center. This arguably could be the most loaded, must-see set of games with major D-I players everywhere on rosters, including the sons of former NBA standouts Carlos Boozer (All-Star + All-NBA) and Jason Richardson (lottery pick + two-time Slam-Dunk champ back when that title actually meant something). ... Tyreek Hill is realizing that he needed Pat Mahomes more than Mahomes needed him. He won two Super Bowls minus Hill. But why is Hill comparing his current quarterback with the Dolphins (Tua) to his ex? That never goes over well. He might not catch his first pass until Week 10.
