Is the glass half-empty or half-full for Omari Jones? He lost a boxing semifinal by close decision Tuesday, but the Orlando native is still the only one in the men's division to bring back a medal (bronze). Look at the scores. One judge had Jones winning all three rounds. Another had his opponent winning all three rounds. 😲 ... Montrell Johnson was back on the sideline in Gainesville, but he didn't practice after a surgical procedure. ... The Olympics are going according to form for USA men's basketball and women's soccer, but the 1500 in track and field is another story. What a shocker. ... Gus Malzahn appears to have scored a big get in a Cocoa receiver, but keep in mind Jayvan Boggs has backed off previous "commitments" to Ohio State and Missouri. What's the over/under on a commitment to a fourth school before it becomes binding? ... UCF fans don't appreciate Gus Malzahn? Mike Bianchi suggests this might be the case, but social media has a tendency to warp reality. Do people use it to praise or say thank you to anyone? No. They use it ONLY when they want to gripe about someone, something and it doesn't matter if they're basing it on fallacy. What do you think?
