Good morning. It's Tuesday, August 30. As primary voters prepared to head to the polls today, the two leading candidates for Florida's U.S. Senate seat were already looking forward to the general election in November.

Tropical Depression Nine is expected to reach tropical storm strength today as it continues on track to land anywhere from Central Florida to the Panhandle on Thursday.
