Sentinel Sports Final

Friday, June 7, 2024

The Super Regionals are underway today (FSU plays) and UF is up Saturday. Both of a shot at the final 8 to make the College World Series. If either advances it would be a major about-face. ... The Pride had a week off. They're 3,000 miles away and can extend their record winning streak to nine. ... Dallas made it interesting in the third quarter, cutting the deficit to eight, but Boston owned the Mavs in Game 1 of NBA Finals. But win Game 2 and no one remembers. All the road team needs is the split. They can lose Game 1 by 50 and win Game 2 by 1. It's a tie series, but they're in control by stealing home court. ... The Lakers are grasping at straws to find a coach. Danny Hurley is phenomenal. In college. He develops players. In the pros, it's about managing them. Slight but major difference.
