Orlando bids for Pro Bowl & UCF aims for 'preeminent' status

Good morning. It's Wednesday, April 20. The NFL's Pro Bowl all-star game could be bound for Orlando, as Florida Citrus Sports officials have submitted proposal that would bring the game to the Citrus Bowl for the next three years. Gov. Rick Scott signed into law the creation of a new education tier for state schools known as "emerging preeminent" that officials say should help UCF move toward the top level which includes the University of Florida and Florida State.
