Sentinel Sports Final

Wednesday, May 1, 2024

One more rebound. One more made foul shot. One less turnover. The Magic were that close to stealing Game 5 in Cleveland on Tuesday night before losing by 1. They did better on the road. They were close. But close only counts in horseshoes, hand grenades and dancing ... If you missed how the Knicks blew a six-point lead at home with less than 30 seconds left, you need to find the replay. They might be the only team feeling worse than the Magic this morning. ... What a change a year makes. Last season at this point, the Rays were the talk of MLB. Now they'll take just getting above .500. ... What will happen with the Dolphins this fall? Are changes coming? Columnist Chris Perkins sure thinks so. ... Is Jamal Murray the most clutch player in the NBA playoffs? Early returns say yes.
