A year ago, Frank Vogel was hired by Phoenix on a five-year deal for $31 million. Now, after an njury-riddled season with 49 wins and a first-round playoff exit because the front office believed point guards were as obselete as true centers, he's unemployed. On the upside for the former Magic coach: He's owed $24.8 million to NOT work. Respect, Frank. ... The Cavs shouldn't be beating the Celtics, especially not in Boston. The team with the league's best record by a mile and 37-4 at the Garden during the regular season has lost there twice in the postseason. I 'm picking whoever comes out of the West (Minnesota). ... It's a busy weekend for lacrosse postseason play in high school and college, including UF which is playing today vs. UNC. ... The new renderings on the Rays ' stadium look good. I'm kind of surprised we've gotten this far considering the visitors have more fans.
