Sanford treasure hunters find $1M in gold off Florida's coast

What would you do if you found $1 million just laying around? Eric Schmitt and his family of Sanford treasure hunters have apparently hit a jackpot. The group found 52 gold coins worth more than $1 million. The star of the haul was an extremely rare coin known as a "Tricentennial Royal" minted in 1715. It had been underwater since a fleet of Spanish ships foundered during a hurricane along Florida's Treasure Coast  some 300 years ago. [More]

Jeb Bush calls for financial help for Puerto Rico

Coast Guard offers hope of finding missing teens alive

More than three days after two 14-year-old boys disappeared on what was supposed to be a routine fishing trip, Coast Guard officials offered hope the teens could be found alive. “People can survive in the water.
