Coast Guard searching after missing teens' boat found

Family and friends are holding out hope after the two teens, Austin Stephanos and Perry Cohen, both 14, were reported missing about 5 p.m. Friday evening. The Coast Guard has broadened it search and family members say both boys were strong. "We are going to find them today," said Carly Black, Austin's mother. [More]

University of Florida alert: One person in custody after shots fired near dorm

The UF campus is on alert after gunfire erupted on the campus during an overnight shooting near a residential dorm. Not much was known early Monday, including if anyone was hurt during the shooting but police are continuing to investigate and more details are expected to be released soon. Bobbi Kristina Brown, daughter of Whitney Houston, dead at 22

News of Bobbi Kristina's passing was released Sunday evening and immediately began circulating on social media. Her passing came after she was found unresponsive in her bathtub in her Atlanta-area home several months ago and after she was placed in a hospice for longterm care.   [More]
