50 lost ACT exams from Winter Park force students to retake test

The ACT exams taken at Winter Park High School last month were apparently lost in the mail and remain missing, meaning the affected teenagers will have to retake the college-admissions exam this month or sometime later. Neither the testing company or FedEx, which delivered the package, has any idea what happened to the missing exams. [More]

Judge to decide whether Zimmerman shooter should be locked up

Matthew Apperson, the former mental patient who shot at George Zimmerman in May in a road rage incident in Lake Mary, will be in a Sanford courtroom Friday morning to learn if he will be ordered to jail after he apparently violated the terms of his pretrial release. [More]

Cops: 12-year-old chased, shot at man

Orlando police have charged the juvenile with attempted murder after he allegedly chased a man down before opening fire on him lat Thursday night. It was not immediately clear what sparked the shooting but police say the boy has been cooperating with investigators.  [More]
