Good morning. It's Friday, December 9. South Korea's national legislature voted today to impeach President Park Geun-hye, the latest and most dramatic development in a mushrooming political scandal that has sent millions into the streets in protest.

John Glenn, the fighter-jock pilot of few words who helped cement America's faith that it could lead the race into outer space, died Thursday at the age of 95.
