Good Sunday morning. I'm Roger Simmons, the Sentinel's managing editor. I'm a native Floridian, and I love history – especially any connection to the Sunshine State. For example, yesterday was the 59th anniversary of astronaut John Glenn blasting off from Kennedy Space Center and becoming the first American to orbit Earth.
