ECU eliminated UCF baseball Friday night at the American Athletic Conference but the Pirates needed 13 innings to get the win. For Greg Lovelady's squad (33-26), the season ends despite pushing the top seed in the conference to the brink of elimination in five extra innings.

"We have to continue with what we showed in Miami," said Orlando City coach Oscar Pareja. "We had a tremendous first half, and in the second half when Miami pushed us we were solid. That's going to be needed for every single game, not just against Atlanta."
