Money prevails. As Sentinel columnist Mike Bianchi points out, where are the LIV Golf critics now? Will they dismount their soapboxes and quit the PGA Tour out of principle because they'll be taking Saudi money, too? Don't hold your breath. There's a better chance you'll toss your Chinese-made iPhones into Lake Eola after reading this.

Nobody knows what this new golf merger is going to be called or how it's going to be set up, but at least golf fans can now enjoy the sport they love without this polarizing feud dividing the top golfers on the planet.

FHSAA executive director looks for 'common ground' with board restructured by Gov. Ron DeSantis

Uncertainty surrounded FHSAA director Craig Damon and the board of directors as they held a final board meeting for the 2022-23 school year on Tuesday. HB225 gives Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis the power to install a new board in July and also changed a number of rules that determine sports eligibility.

Eflin picks up 8th victory, Raley slugs 11th HR as MLB-leading Rays beat Twins

Zach Eflin pitched into the seventh inning and earned his eighth win, Luke Raley tripled and homered, and the MLB-best Rays beat the AL Central-leading Minnesota. Eflin scattered three hits and struck out nine over 6 2/3 innings. Only teammate Shane McClanahan has more wins in the majors with nine.
