SEC opponents for 2024's eight-game league schedule will be announced June 14 during a primetime television event. The move will keep Florida's non-conference slate intact, including much-anticipated matchups with UCF and Miami.

UCF coach Gus Malzahn will host nearly 30 recruits during the third version of Bounce House Weekend, the program's top recruiting event. UCF already has four recruits verbally committed for the class of 2024 — a group that ranks No. 51 in the country, according to 247Sports.

Coco Gauff had to wait and wait and wait to get on the court for her second-round match at the French Open. That's because the match before hers lasted nearly 5 1/2 hours. When the 2022 runner-up in Paris did get out there, she won in a little more than an hour to set up an all-teen showdown against Mirra Andreeva. Some of the top names in tennis are due on court Friday: Novak Djokovic, Carlos Alcaraz, Aryna Sabalenka and Jessica Pegula.

A simmering dispute between Major League Baseball and the Hunt Valley-based broadcaster Sinclair erupted into public view in federal bankruptcy court.
