The new NCAA president wants the federal government to step in and set an NIL law to make regulations uniform in all 50 states. Problem is, the Gators, who are back in the CWS chasing the school's second NCAA title in the sport starting today, likely will be working on fifth before those slow pokes get moving. ... Luke Raley hit a go-ahead solo homer with one out in the eighth, Manuel Margot connected earlier, and the Tampa Bay Rays earned a series split. Rays rookie top prospect Taj Bradley struck out the first six A's batters in order and a career-high 11 in all.
