I'm not sure who are the other four people worse than Rob Mercer right now but there's a good chance a few are on death row and a few coaching college football ... After months of buildup about Lionel Messi coming to Exploria Stadium, the sounds of "Womp womp" should be used during introductions. Better luck in 2024. ... Nine state championship high school football games over three days. One location. And instead of a few days before Christmas, it'll be wrapped up in the first week of December. How can you not like that?

The extent of Messi's injury — or even if there is an actual injury — has not been announced. It sounds like "muscle fatigue" could be the MLS version of NBA-style "load management" in which the 37-year-old just needs some rest after playing 15 matches in the last two months.

GoFundMe refunds donations to poker player who admits to lying about cancer for tournament buy-in

GoFundMe says it has also banned Rob Mercer from the platform and removed the poker player's fundraising campaign from its website. Mercer told the Las Vegas Review-Journal on Wednesday he wouldn't refund anyone because he believes he has undiagnosed breast cancer. His fundraiser received donations worth between $30,000 and $50,000, including a stay at the Bellagio.
