Week 2 football live report: No. 1 Seminole, No. 3 Apopka are winners

Week 2 of Orlando area high school football had Leesburg-Eustis on Thursday and four games tonight matching Super 16 teams, including West Orange-Apopka and Osceola-Seminole and Wekiva-Ocoee, along with Edgewater at home and Jones playing in Maryland. Boone seeks win No. 100 for coach Andy Johnson.

Several local girls volleyball teams played in the first day of the Nike Tournament of Champions Southeast event with Winter Park winning 3 matches in the National Division, and Olympia winning 3 in the Premier Division. Lake Highland Prep and Orangewood Christian won non-tourney matches.
